Are You Ready for Some Football??!!

I've spent most of the last couple days watcing football. Week two of college football proved to be a good one. Iowa won, the Big Ten went 11-0. Sunday was the first day of the NFL season, and some friends came over after church to watch some ball. I also made an absolutely delicious apple crisp. It was perfect. The Colts game was a disappointment, but the Cowboys won, and my fantasy team did well. For Monday Night Football tonight a bunch of us went over to a friend's house and watched Aaron Rodgers silence all the critcs. I'm, by no means, a Packers fan, but it was fun to see him play. He's good. Tomorrow's the first in three days with no football games, so I'm not sure what to do with all that free time. I should have a new netflix by then. :-)
I discovered that Mad About You is on TVLand at 6:30 in the morning, and my outdated TV can't pre-record with digital cable, so my new resolution is to wake up at 6:30, turn on the TV and press record, and shower while it tapes. That way I'm out of the shower by the time it's over. I watch Mad About You (without the commercials because I can fast forward) while eating my breakfast and letting my hair dry so it doesn't take so long to blow dry. Genius. I love it when plans like that fall so perfectly into place.

I'm easy to please.
